Scholar Publications is the continuation of a family tradition of publication business that dates back to 1955 with the foundation of Polymer Publications by Professor Nisar Ahmed Qureshi. This tradition is being carried forward by his third generation. Polymer Publications has a humble beginning in Gujranwala. Its first publication was Polymer English Grammar and Composition for Intermediate Classes. A couple of years later, it published Tameer-e-Adab, Urdu Grammar and Composition for Intermediate Classes. This followed by books on Islamic Studies for FA and BA by Ghulam Ahmed Hurari. Professor Nisar Ahmed Qureshi then founded Aikman Book Company in 1997. another Publishing House dedicated primarily to publishing computer science books. Muhammad Shahid Qureshi, who later founded Scholar Publications, assisted his Grandfather, Professor Nisar Ahmed Qureshi, making Aikman Publications an instant success.
